Stroll by the holiday windows this month at Macy's in New York city, and you'll be swept away by their holiday magic.

With over 55 years of experience in this unique industry, Spaeth Design has made its animatronic holiday windows a tradition for many across North America. For customers such as Saks Fifth Ave and Lord & Taylor, they have been designing and building continuously since 1976!

"With a staff of the most creative and innovative designers, sculptors, painters, welders, and craftsmen working in our in-house 20,000 sq. ft studio, we are able to consistently produce our signature 'Spaeth Design look and feel' that is unparalleled in the industry," explains David Spaeth, who took over the business from his father 35 years ago.

The entire process--from concept to delivery--takes 7-8 months, so for lighting designers such as Cris Dopher, who helped on the project, it's holiday time almost all the time.
