Congratulations to A&A, our Vectorworks distributor in Japan, for winning a Good Design Award 2010 for Vectorworks and SimTread.

Vectorworks 2010 won the first prize as a high performance 3D CAD and BIM software. The jury believed that "Vectorworks software has been selected by many users because of its outstanding expressiveness and usability".

SimTread, a plug-in software for Vectorworks developed in collaboration with the Takenaka Corporation and Waseda University, makes it possible to simulate pedestrian's flow. Its usability is superior to other similar products and is of tremendous value to virtualize various situations. Regarding SimTread, the jury said that "the simulation accuracy on CAD and excellence of Graphical User Interface (GUI) are worthwhile".
