Swiss landscape architects are sending a clear message that Vectorworks software is their tool of choice. In a current summer exhibit in Zurich, where the most influential Swiss landscape architects and garden designers over the last years are displaying their works, more than 60% of exhibiting landscape firms are Vectorworks users.
The exhibition, called "the swiss touch in landscape architecture," shows the influence of Swiss landscape architects and horticulturists on the environment. The basic concepts of garden design, as well as the historical basis of Swiss landscape architecture, are displayed, and invite visitors to experience the quality, diversity, and complexity of the field.
“We are excited, but not surprised, that most of these landscape architects work with Vectorworks software because this CAD tool has established itself as a standard in the Swiss design industry for a long time,” said Andreas Kling, CEO of ComputerWorks AG in Switzerland. “Proudly, we can observe in the exhibition that the innovative and fascinating design of many public spaces in Switzerland was planned with Vectorworks software.”
Some of the Vectorworks firms exhibiting at the expo include: Vogt Landschaftsarchitekten, Schweingruber Zulauf Landschaftsarchitekten, Rotzler Krebs Partner Landschaftsarchitekten, and Klötzli Friedli Landschaftsarchitekten.
The exhibition opened in May and closes July 14. So if your imminent summer plans include a trip to this Swiss city, be sure to check it out!
