We're thrilled to announce that Nemetschek Vectorworks was named the winner in the "One to Watch Company" category at this year's Construction Computing Awards. These annual awards, also known as The Hammers, "showcase and reward the technology, tools, and solutions for the effective design, construction, maintenance, and modification of commercial buildings, residential and social housing, and civil engineering projects of all sizes."

The Computers Unlimited staff accepted the award on behalf of Nemetschek Vectorworks and posed for this photo with author Steve Race and comedian Jim Taveré.

Vectorworks 2012 software was also the runner up in the "BIM Product of the Year" category. And, for the third year in a row, our distributor in the UK, Computers Unlimited, was runner up in the "Channel Partner of the Year" category.

The ceremony took place on November 22 at the Hotel Russell in London. Jim Tavaré, comedian and actor, entertained the guests, and Steve Race, author of the book BIM Demystified, spoke about Building Information Modeling (BIM). The event also raised funds for CRASH: Constructing a Future for Homeless People.
