Posted by Lisa Lance on 2/8/13 10:28 AM

Are you in the Boston or Dallas area in the U.S.? Have you been thinking about transitioning to a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow? If so, you're in luck because BIM Camps are coming to these cities in March! BIM Camp will give you the skills you need to thrive in the world of BIM, better understand how IFC-based standards benefit design teams, create sustainable and high-performing designs, and collaborate through Open BIM. Attendees can earn four AIA/CES/HSW or LA CES PDH for continuing education and will also receive a BIM Survival Kit to take home, loaded with presentation materials and other resources.

You have a choice of dates to attend the Boston BIM Camp: March 5 from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m. or March 6 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. And the Dallas BIM Camp will take place March 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sessions include "Small Green BIM" presented by François Lévy, AIA, AIAA, and author of BIM in Small-Scale Sustainable Design, "Legal Issues in BIM" presented by Jay Wickersham, Esq., FAIA and Bennet Heart, Esq. of Noble & Wickersham LLP (Boston) and Mitchell S. Milby, Esq. of Milby, PLLC (Dallas), and "Plugging Structural Analysis and Design into the BIM Workflow" presented by Dan Monaghan from Nemetschek Scia. Please visit the event registration pages to view the full agendas.

Plus, registration fees for the Boston event will fund the Vectorworks Young Architects Student Scholarship to be awarded later this year. Register for Boston or Dallas today!
