April is a big month for designers, and we’re not saying that just because the 2016 Vectorworks Design Summit is right around the corner. Another reason we’re welcoming April with open arms is because it’s World Landscape Architecture Month (WLAM). Established by the American Society of Landscape Architecture (ASLA), WLAM is dedicated to showcasing how spaces designed by landscape architects around the world affect our daily lives.

Nemetschek NA has been quite involved in the U.S. community of landscape architects. And while, admittedly, we got this coverage as part of our corporate sponsorship of the 2009 ASLA Annual Meeting, the sponsorship provided a nice opportunity to reflect on the many activities we've supported in this particular -- and growing -- segment of our business.
