The majority of the new and improved features in each version of Vectorworks software are based on user suggestions, but the impact of user input doesn’t stop there. Vectorworks has a team of beta testers from within the design industry who explore new features in the software before it’s released each year, informing us of how to improve key functionalities. We’re extremely grateful for all of their hard work, and according to beta tester Ion Webster, the feeling is mutual.

Your projects will be picture-perfect after this month’s Tech Roundup focusing on CameraMatch, a plug-in that allows you to easily align your 3D models in Vectorworks software with photographs.
PanzerCAD’s CameraMatch plug-in empowers designers to align and compose a 3D view of a model with a photograph, helping clients to better envision a given project. If your designs aren’t camera-shy, you’ll be happy to hear that Vectorworks has acquired PanzerCAD’s technology and hired the company's Founder and Developer Matt Panzer to join its engineering team as an architectural product planner, where he’ll work to improve Vectorworks software’s architectural workflows.
