We weren’t the only ones who thought Vectorworks 2018 stood out at the AIA 2018 conference in New York, which we attended last month.
Last week, members of the Vectorworks team traveled to New York City for the AIA Conference on Architecture 2018. The annual AIA conference offers three days of educational sessions, keynote speakers, training, and an expo hall focused on architecture and design.
BIM and virtual reality were the center of attention recently at Swissbau, Switzerland’s biggest building tradeshow. This year’s event included lectures, exhibits, and an Innovation Lab focused on new opportunities through digital transformation, with demonstrations related to the future of design. Our distributor ComputerWorks played an integral role in this interactive and educational show.

The majority of the new and improved features in each version of Vectorworks software are based on user suggestions, but the impact of user input doesn’t stop there. Vectorworks has a team of beta testers from within the design industry who explore new features in the software before it’s released each year, informing us of how to improve key functionalities. We’re extremely grateful for all of their hard work, and according to beta tester Ion Webster, the feeling is mutual.
