Want to foster greater collaboration and communication within your project team and, at the same time, streamline your project management?
Let us introduce you to Project Sharing.
Project Sharing is a multiuser environment in Vectorworks software that helps designers manage projects involving multiple team members.
Project Sharing Enhancements in Vectorworks 2018
Project Sharing’s single-file structure acts as a mechanism to allow multiple users to work within, and access parts of, a file simultaneously. This allows all team members to act together, sharing their knowledge and expertise for the overall design and documentation of the project. It allows the entire team to think of a project holistically. And, more importantly, Project Sharing means a single source of information can be used for automation and quality checking in drawing production and data extraction — one of the greatest benefits of BIM.
If you haven’t been using Project Sharing, check out our new “Introduction to Project Sharing” workflow. It provides an overview to Project Sharing in Vectorworks Architect and shows you how to set up and use it, including step-by-step details about drawing in a working file.
