Light Plot DeconstructedTeaching software can be a complex process. There's the nuances of the software to teach. The art of the profession. Each person has their own particular experience, whether that's their professional track or their own proclivities with how they solve problems.

That's why we're quite pleased to announce the publication of Light Plot Deconstructed. Written by long-time Vectorworks user Gregg Hillmar, a lighting designer with decades of experience and one who teaches theater tech and lighting design, the book is an invitation into the mind and thought-process of how to create a light plot.

Light Plot Deconstructed is written in a conversational tone and is an excellent resource for emerging lighting design professionals using Vectorworks in their work. Experienced LDs will also benefit from the proximity and perspective of one in their same field.
