Nemetschek Vectorworks and Computers Unlimited, our Vectorworks distributor in the UK, sponsored the KLC Awards Ceremony 2010. The annual ceremony serves to recognize the outstanding achievements of students at KLC School of Design. For the second year in a row, the event was held at the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) headquarters in London.
"Computer aided design is now an accepted and vital part of every design graduate's skills set," said Jenny Gibbs, principal of KLC School of Design. "Some years ago, after considerable research, KLC identified Vectorworks as the ideal learning software as it is simple to use...it is also a software that can work effectively with others."
The winner of this year's KLC Award for Computer Aided Design was Emily Gooda. "I was really pleased to win the 2010 Vectorworks program because I knew I would be able to continue to develop my own ideas and style at home," she said. The award was presented by Jacqui Smith, group marketing manager design of Computers Unlimited.
Congratulations to Emily from all of us at Nemetschek Vectorworks! We wish you the best of luck in your career.
