Sponsored by the National Institute of Building Sciences, this three-day conference provided attendees with expert insight on four topics: Building Information Modeling (BIM) and information technology; building performance and energy efficiency; green building and sustainable design; and sustainable sites and infrastructure. Jeffrey Ouellette, our in-house BIM expert, gave two presentations: Case Study: D.C. Riverside Office Building and openBIM: The State of the Art of Interoperability.
Wes Gardner, our architectural industry specialist, and Julio Martinez, the U.S. account manager from our sister company Nemetschek Scia, participated in the AEC Interoperability Center where they demonstrated the interoperability between Scia Engineer and Vectorworks Architect in the D.C. Riverside Office Building design project.
And, in other architecture news, our Vectorworks Architect Tutorial Manual, Third Edition is now available. This edition of the tutorial by expert Vectorworks trainer Jonathan Pickup has been updated for use with Vectorworks 2011.
