Looking for Building Information Modeling (BIM) content in a variety of formats? You can now find this on BIMstop, a website that offers BIM content for the design community.
Director Scott Barrington has been building content for a range of formats for over four years but wasn't happy with the available distribution networks--which were all locked to one format. "We aim to support BIM as a whole," explains Barrington. "We see BIM as a process (not just a piece of software) and our goal is to make it as efficient as possible as well as accessible to everybody around the globe." Last month BIMstop had users from 96 different countries, which adds up to thousands of visitors and new users every day. And, according to Barrington, there are more exciting features to come.
