A series of Vectorworks BIM Camps are now underway in Japan. These events, hosted by our distributor A&A Co. Ltd., feature lectures on Building Information Modeling (BIM), as well as a hands-on training seminar based on a design for a small residence. Attendees will gain a  better understanding a BIM workflow, including effective use of wall, slab, window, door, space, and framing tools.

The first event was held on May 25 in Takamatsu City, and it was well attended by architects and designers. The BIM Camps will travel to 11 cities throughout Japan, including Niigata City on June 16 and Tokyo on June 26. More details can be found on the A&A BIM Camp website, and new dates will be added soon. Also, with the cooperation of Hewlett-Packard Japan, Ltd., attendees can rent mobile PCs to join the hands-on seminars.
