Greenbuild/ASLA 2013

Two of the biggest events of the year in the landscape architecture and green building industries take place this month, and we’re excited to announce that we’ll be attending them both!

First is the ASLA 2013 Annual Meeting and EXPO, which takes place November 15-18, in Boston. If your travel plans take to you Beantown, Nemetschek Vectorworks will be showcasing the Vectorworks Landmark software at Booth #2114. There will also be live presentations and an iPad giveaway.

Once the show in Boston ends, our team will head south to Philadelphia for the Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, November 18-23. We’re giving away another iPad at Greenbuild, so see us at Booth #3456 for a chance to win and learn how Vectorworks Cloud Services can help you share files and make design decisions from any location, including with a mobile device. And, don’t miss our live presentations.

New this year, we’ve made it easier for some lucky students and professionals in the earlier stages of their careers to attend these conferences. Nemetschek Vectorworks hosted a Conference Pass Giveaway for one student and one emerging professional to win full conference passes to ASLA or Greenbuild completely on us! Entrants were asked to “Like” the Vectorworks Facebook page and submit a 300- to 500-word essay on why they would like to attend. The winners attending ASLA are Jamie Mitchell, a student at the University of Nevada, and Andy McDowell, LLA, ASLA, Project Scientist & Landscape Architect at Cardno JFNEW. Joining us for Greenbuild are Van Amy To, a student at The Art Institute of Houston, and Miki Sankary, LEED GA, US Green Building Council.

Which shows are you attending this year? Tweet to @Vectorworks and let us know!
