If the thought of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is keeping you up at night, you don’t have to worry. You’ve already taken the first step toward implementing a BIM workflow by using design software. The second step is attending BIM Camp, a seminar we're offering in cities across the United States over the next few months.

Nemetschek Vectorworks, Inc. is pleased to announce that we received a 2013 Product Innovation Award (PIA) in the Industry Leadership category from Architectural Products magazine for our BIM Camp events, which help architects and designers learn the skills they need to adopt BIM workflows in their practices.
Nemetschek Vectorworks' BIM Camp events took the U.S. by storm beginning in 2012, providing attendees with the knowledge to effectively transition to a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow. Since then, BIM Camps have traveled to Japan, Switzerland, and the Benelux region.
A series of Vectorworks BIM Camps are now underway in Japan. These events, hosted by our distributor A&A Co. Ltd., feature lectures on Building Information Modeling (BIM), as well as a hands-on training seminar based on a design for a small residence. Attendees will gain a better understanding a BIM workflow, including effective use of wall, slab, window, door, space, and framing tools.
We've been going through some exciting changes here at Nemetschek Vectorworks, and we thought we'd take you inside our Columbia, Maryland headquarters to see what's been going on.
Nemetschek Vectorworks’ successful BIM Camp continues to travel the country and will arrive in Chicago for a one-day seminar on Thursday, April 18. The event takes place from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. CDT in the Wabash Conference Room at Thirty Five East Wacker Drive.
Are you in the Boston or Dallas area in the U.S.? Have you been thinking about transitioning to a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow? If so, you're in luck because BIM Camps are coming to these cities in March! BIM Camp will give you the skills you need to thrive in the world of BIM, better understand how IFC-based standards benefit design teams, create sustainable and high-performing designs, and collaborate through Open BIM. Attendees can earn four AIA/CES/HSW or LA CES PDH for continuing education and will also receive a BIM Survival Kit to take home, loaded with presentation materials and other resources.

Our distributor in the Benelux region, Design Express, will be hosting a series of Vectorworks BIM Camps at the end of this month. Events will be held Nov. 26 in Rotterdam, Nov. 27 in Amsterdam, Nov. 28 in Antwerpen, and Nov. 29 in Brussels.
At the onset, adopting a BIM workflow may seem daunting, but if you attend a Nemetschek Vectorworks BIM Camp, you'll learn how easy it can be!
