Global solutions provider Production Resource Group (PRG) stages events around the world, from music tours and corporate events to theme parks and retail stores. And now, thanks to our recent partnership with them, the company that’s on-site to help entertainment professionals execute on their designs is on-hand in your software, too. That’s right, we’re actively developing and implementing new tools and object libraries for PRG in Vectorworks Spotlight software.
We’ve had a lot to celebrate this year, including our 30-year anniversary, the inaugural Vectorworks Design Summit, and the opening of our Atlanta office. But 2015 isn’t over yet, and we have two more things to celebrate: today's release of Vectorworks 2016 software and the announcement of our rebrand as Vectorworks, Inc.

Home to over five and a half million people, as well as the corporate offices of many international organizations, Atlanta, Georgia is now also the home of our second office in the United States. The new, 3,700-square-foot space is located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, can accommodate up to 25 employees, and will initially employ software engineers to further develop the Vectorworks product line.
If the audible gasps from attendees at our Vectorworks Design Summit are any indication, the potential for injecting point cloud data into the design process is awe-inspiring. In fact, when our CTO Dr. Biplab Sarkar delivered his keynote address and revealed how we plan to support the technology in our 2016 release this fall, the enthusiasm was infectious.
