If you’re thinking about implementing a BIM workflow or making BIM a more integral part of your design process, then there is plenty of information out there to help. However, if you're looking to go beyond the concepts behind BIM and see it in action for yourself, pick up a copy of Innovative Vectorworks BIM. This collection of detailed, illustrated case studies showcases projects from the United Kingdom paired with an introduction to BIM modeling to help you reimagine your workflows.
We've done it again! For six years and counting, we’ve been honored by the Construction Computing Awards, an annual program that celebrates the technology, tools, and solutions that aid in the effective design, construction, maintenance, and modification of commercial buildings, residential and social housing, as well as civil engineering projects of all sizes.

BIM Unlimited won the BEST USE OF BIM FOR SUSTAINABILITY OR CONSTRUCTABILITY award at the Build Earth Live event last week. This virtual, global design competition revolved around a site location in New York City. Like previous competitions such as Build London, Sydney, and Qatar, teams had just 48 hours to publish their proposals to Asite's Adoddle cloud-based collaboration platform.

In an increasingly youth-oriented world, obsessed with physical perfection, interior designer and artist Niloufar Lamakan explores the concepts of beauty and aging in her upcoming “Fade” exhibition. Fade, which will run from January 26 to the 31 at the Clerkenwell Gallery in London, challenges the notion that life begins with youth and vibrancy and fades into invisible grayness. Inspired by the unexpected behavior of color combinations, Lamakan is concerned with how people interact with color at different stages of life.
Computers Unlimited, the Vectorworks software distributor in the United Kingdom, recently sponsored the publication of a new book that dispels the misconception that BIM is appropriate only for larger practices. Written by architect and author Robert Klaschka, BIM in Small Practices: Illustrated Case Studies features 10 BIM projects designed by small architectural firms. One of those case studies focuses on industry expert Jonathan Reeves, who has been a loyal Vectorworks user since 1991.
