These annual awards, also known as The Hammers, "showcase and reward the technology, tools, and solutions for the effective design, construction, maintenance, and modification of commercial buildings, residential and social housing, and civil engineering projects of all sizes."

The place to be last week was Bristol, where designers were treated to a presentation about the newly-released Vectorworks 2011 software. Our Vectorworks distributor in the UK, Computers Unlimited, officially launched their 2011 Roadshow that consists of a series of presentations and “meet the engineers” sessions.

The annual ceremony serves to recognize the outstanding achievements of students at KLC School of Design. For the second year in a row, the event was held at the RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) headquarters in London.
