Nemetschek Vectorworks' BIM Camp events took the U.S. by storm beginning in 2012, providing attendees with the knowledge to effectively transition to a Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow. Since then, BIM Camps have traveled to Japan, Switzerland, and the Benelux region.
Just what I was going to say, but I've only listened to the first set of the Pimsleur German-language training CDs, so I might stumble with my German. I'll let the pros say it better; from MacGadget:
Our VP of Integrated Practice, Robert Anderson, was invited to speak at the BuildingSMART conference in Germany, an event focused on BIM, Building Information Modeling. Robert spoke about recent interoperability (IFC) activities involving Vectorworks, including BIMstorm, the Stockholm interchange event of September 2008, AECOO, and various GSA initiatives. He also, "exhorted the assembled company" (his words) to make IFC a better standard for product data and, of course, plug Vectorworks as a BIM platform. Go Robert!
