If you’re familiar with our Marionette Monday series, you’ve likely seen many posts on all of the fabulous designs Marionette has been a part of producing as well as various tips for using the program. But what exactly is Marionette, what is an Algorithms-Aided Design (AAD) tool, and why is a Vectorworks feature exciting enough to get its own blog series?
Still not fully convinced that Marionette, the algorithmic modeling tool for Vectorworks, is for you or your firm? Look no further. Here are five reasons you should try Marionette — complete with a real-world example to demonstrate one of our most powerful product features.
While Vectorworks fosters a culture of innovation throughout the year, once in a while it helps to give even the most deep-rooted tenets a boost. Last week, the Vectorworks team gathered together for our Fall Innovation Expo. This event consisted of keynotes, presentations, and interactive workshops that were meant to inspire new ideas for products and services the company can potentially create for our users. By the end of the week, team members from all departments collaborated and shared their innovative ideas in over 35 group and individual presentations.
